Administrative assistant in insurance

Clermont Assurance, a recognized company in the insurance field, offers personalized solutions and exceptional customer service. We are growing and are looking for an administrative assistant in insurance to join our dynamic team in Quebec City.

Position: Administrative Assistant in Insurance
As an administrative assistant, you will play a key role in the administrative support of our team of brokers and contribute to providing an optimal customer experience. This position is ideal for an organized, versatile and detail-oriented person.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the administrative processing of insurance files: opening, monitoring and updating information.
  • Prepare, verify and transmit the documentation required for insurance policies and renewals.
  • Answer customer phone calls and emails, providing first-level support or redirecting requests to the appropriate broker.
  • Manage agendas, organize meetings and coordinate appointments with customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure effective management of deadlines and priorities.
  • Maintain electronic files and records in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Profile wanted

  • Diploma in administration, office automation or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in insurance or in an administrative position, a major asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite, management software).
  • Good written and oral communication skills, in French (English an asset).
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
